The Live Art Development Agency will be hosting a pop-up Study Room as part of the exhibition UPSTAIRS @White_Building over the weekend of the Hackney Wicked Art Festival.
LADA’s Study Room houses one of the largest publicly accessible collections of Live Art related videos, DVDs and publications in the UK. During the UPSTAIRS @White_Buildingexhibition members of the public will be able to watch, read and listen to a selection of Study Room items specially selected for Hackney WickEd.
UPSTAIRS @White_Building will showcase the work of all The White Building’s permanent tenants, including The Yard Theatre, Lawrence Lek, Public Works and LADA. We will be joined by current INFRA_SPECTION resident artists Gretchen Andrus and Byron Peters who will be showing their work in progress in the Residency Studio.
Run by SPACE, The White Building is a community hub for art, technology and sustainability.
