The Writers Gathering
Created and hosted by Something Other, The Writers Gathering is an open discussion group for people who use writing as a tool for experiment in their practice, but whose work doesn’t necessarily fit into easily defined categories. The group welcomes those who might hold writing in a critical relationship with performance, see writing as a space for or refuge from performance, or transform writing through dialogue with performance. This is not an opportunity as such, more an open community repeatedly forged by those who participate on the day.
An RSVP is necessary to attend: please contact Something Other – Mary Paterson, Diana Damian Martin and Maddy Costa – by emailing departmentfc@gmail.com
Forthcoming meetings are taking place on 4 February, 24 March, 5 May and 23 June from 6.30pm – 8.30pm.
