World premiere of Transfigured Night: a conversation with Alphonso Lingis

Transfigured Night is the record of an exchange between the celebrated American philosopher and anthropologist Alphonso Lingis and the performance theorist Adrian Heathfield, filmed by Hugo Glendinning. The film assembles a rich patchwork of fragments taken from their dialogue over a period of two days at Lingis’ house near Baltimore.
The DVD of Transfigured Night will be released as part of the Crossovers DVD series of artists’ films, documentaries and dialogues developed from Performance Matters projects between 2010 and 2011.
