LADA partners with Queen Mary University of London

LADA is delighted to announce two new partnerships with the Department of Drama at Queen Mary University of London (QMUL): we have signed a Memorandum of Understanding (MOU) and, subject to final approval, are launching MA Live Art, a new postgraduate programme.
Our MOU builds on many years of close collaboration between LADA and QMUL on a range of curricular, professional development and public programmes, and we look forward to deepening our work together in future.
The MOU formalises and defines our partnership processes, recognising our shared commitment to championing artistic and cultural experiences informed by issues of difference and diversity, and creating the conditions in which innovation, experimentation and risk can thrive. We will continue to work together to cultivate new forms of public engagement and new discourses around the nature, role and value of contemporary culture.
QMUL and LADA also recognise the unique opportunities of our collaboration to explore the development of learning opportunities for QMUL students, and we are pleased to partner on a new MA Live Art programme at QMUL to commence in 2018-19.
MA Live Art is a specialised programme of taught postgraduate study led by research leaders, industry professionals, and high-profile artists. Graduates will gain theoretical and practical grounding in histories and practices of Live Art, while developing professional capacities and networks.
